Introduction
"Currawong" is a distinctive architect designed holiday home, situated in a secluded location on the eastern side of the town of Penneshaw, Kangaroo Island. The house is of solid brick construction, and its elevated position provides stunning sea views over Penneshaw Beach, Hog Bay and across Backstairs Passage to the SA mainland.
The house features four bedrooms, two with queen size beds, one with a double bed and a fourth bedroom with one queen and two single beds. The house also features a very large open plan living area and a well-appointed kitchen including a dishwasher. The house exudes a peaceful and restful atmosphere, and features reverse cycle air conditioning and a slow combustion wood fire. Another feature of the house is a luxurious bathroom with spa bath and second toilet. A spacious elevated deck, gas BBQ and sea views provide an ideal setting for outdoor dining.

Visitors may bring their own linen, or linen and towels can be provided at an extra charge of $15.00 per person for the length of stay. Payment of one night's accommodation is required as a deposit to secure a booking. |
